防寒性や実用性を第一に考えれば必然的にPコートは選ばなくなる。

けど、防寒性重視のジャンパーやダウンジャケットに比べるとコート1枚ではやはり寒いので中に着込む。
コートがなんできれいに見えるかっていったら、シルエットが直線的でたるみやシワがないからだよね。コートはシルエットが命。なので着ぶくれは厳禁。
でもPコートに手を出す人たちのなかには、そういうおしゃれのいろはを無視してせっかくのコートをジャンパーと同じように着てしまう。着ぶくれした短丈のコートほどかっこ悪いものはない。そしてPコート着てる奴だっさが、Pコートだっさに変換され、おしゃれな人はPコートを着なくなる。
