まあ、ロングコートの由来自体が軍用だし
その後は公務員もだが何よりアウトローから広がってからの一般層への流れだから
カタギに見えないってのはむしろ適したスパイスじゃない？

昭和初期までにの日本だって普通にロングコート着てたわけだが
単純に今の時代で合わないって考えた人が多くて流行していないだけかと。和装着ていないのと同じで。
纏め最後に書かれてるように胸を張るというか上半身のガタイ良けりゃというか
低身長紳士でも鍛えてりゃ問題なく着れるかと。
